These communities face common issues related to the age of their private and public infrastructure and their lack of green fields for development. However, they also have a number of assets including strong leadership, strong community institutions and excellent geographic location. Surrounded by Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit and Grandview, MO; Raytown is close to everything! The demographics of Raytown has been changing for some time, with a large influx of younger people taking advantage of the quality schools and affordable housing.
